SIMPLEPROBES...a really simple genotyping solution

simpleprobe design genotyping synthesis quality assurance

So about 12 years ago I ran an oligonucleotide synthesis business.  There was as the time a wonderful observation that the presence of G residues next to a fluorescein dye would produce some level of quenching.

That spurred my biochemical motors into action, and with a bit of brute force and biochemistry knowledge our lab came up with a great alternative to the guanosine quenching. The alternative is terrific because it could work with any underlying sequence...a patent was filed, and today SIMPLEPROBEs are available for genotyping applications.  If your real-time PCR machine can do a SYBR Green I melt, you can do SIMPLEPROBE genotyping.

If you already use SIMPLEPROBES, we make the best in the country you should give us a try.  If you want to use SIMPLEPROBEs try out our Design Confirmation Service and you will be amazed at how easy they are to use.  All of these can be found on our Fluoresentric Store at store.fluoresentric.com
